The Software RX-320 Control Program and ILGdb is a "freeware" with following restrictions applicable:
Copyright of the Software belongs to Applied Thermodynamics LLC.
The User may download the Software for his/her individual use.
The User may copy and exchange this Software on non-commercial basis as long as a) other party to that exchange will agree with License Agreement; b) Software will be used as a whole (no part can be separated from the package).
The User may not do any commercial distribution were the third party will be given permission to use the Software for a fee, even if the results of such transaction benefit charitable or non-profit organization.
The User may not disassemble, modify or reverse engineer the Software without prior written permission from Applied Thermodynamics LLC.
The User will keep Applied Thermodynamics LLC free from any liabilities or damages of any kind inflicted directly or indirectly as a result of the use of this Software.
If you do not agree with any of the above item, please do not install this Software.
If you still have Control Panel version 1.x.x on your system it is highly recommended to uninstall it before installing the newer version.
To install RX-320 Control Panel just run RX320CP.exe and follow the direction of installation program.
Sync mode requires the computer to be able to analyze the incoming audio.
By default the Sync. AM mode and Oscilloscope views are disabled. To enable this features go to View->Settings and check Enable Sync AM button.
You also need to connect line out of RX-320 with line-in on your computer and configure your mixer to accept line-in as source. To do so double-click Volume Control on the Taskbar. Select Options/Properties on the main menu and click Recording button. Make sure that in the Line section the Select switch is on and the Volume dial is somewhere near the middle of the slide.
To verify the configuration turn on Oscilloscope mode
on the RX-320 Toolbar and select Audio mode
.
Make sure that Radio is tuned to the station and move the Line
slide up until the waveforms will have reasonable amplitude. Avoid
overloading the line that's when audio waveform will become clipped
at the edges of the oscilloscope display. Adjust the volume of
the speakers using either volume dial on the speaker or Volume
Control on the Taskbar.
This distribution contains small sample of older release ILG database covering only 49 and 41 meter bands as a feature demo. The ILGdb uses the same format used by GNPDB program written by Gerd Neiphaus. To use up-to-date ILGdb files you will need to download GNPDB program and latest ILG files. Use Open File button to select the Database file.
When configuring the World-Map view it is essential to set up your
Home location. If you know the Longitude/Latitude of of
your location you can use Settings dialog. Otherwise you may
click
symbol to pinpoint the location on the map using mouse.
The tuning now can be controlled using Hot-key combinations. The following keyboard commands are now supported:
